RCF Technology Powers Ziębice’s Sports and Cultural Hub

The municipality of Ziębice in Poland celebrated a historic milestone with the inauguration of a state-of-the-art sports and entertainment hall. This modern facility is set to become a central hub for sporting and cultural events, serving not only the local community but also visitors from neighboring regions.

Spanning nearly 4,000 m², the venue accommodates up to 700 spectators and boasts eco-friendly features, including an integrated photovoltaic system to reduce energy consumption. The facility is fully accessible for individuals with disabilities, reflecting a commitment to inclusivity and universal design. The two-story building includes a main sports hall with locker rooms and sanitary facilities, a gym, and a conference room. The arena itself is versatile, hosting activities such as volleyball, basketball, and handball, alongside concerts and cultural performances. With a total investment exceeding 42 million PLN (approximately 9.5 million USD), the project is a significant addition to the region’s infrastructure.

The hall is equipped with an advanced sound system designed, supplied, commissioned and tuned by TOMMEX, the official distributor of RCF products for fixed installation in Poland. This cutting-edge system ensures top-tier audio performance for all types of events. The system features RCF Compact C Series loudspeakers, renowned for their consistent sound coverage and clarity, making them ideal for large, multi-purpose venues. The two-way full-range RCF Compact C 32 loudspeakers, positioned to cover the main court, and the RCF C 3108-126 models, installed in the spectator stands, deliver high-quality audio with optimal speech intelligibility, critical for sports events and live performances alike. Additionally, the RCF loudspeakers are weather-resistant, ensuring reliable performance even in demanding conditions.
