TT+ Audio Powers Esports Audio at the 2024 CFS World Finals in Hangzhou

Hangzhou, China – At the 2024 CFS World Finals—an electrifying esports extravaganza organized by Smile Gate and Tencent Games—the high-performance audio prowess of TT+ Audio’s premium GTX line array was unmistakably on display. Over the 10-day tournament, which featured 16 teams from six global regions and eight countries, the flawless integration of advanced audio technology contributed significantly to an engaging and dynamic soundscape. In the climactic showdown on December 15 at Hangzhou Canal Sports Park, where Chinese team EP.Kuaishou clinched victory over Brazil’s SV, every cheer, in-game explosion, and nuanced audio cue was rendered with impeccable clarity.

The event was a masterclass in sound reinforcement. The Table Tennis stadium—an architectural marvel originally built for the 2023 Hangzhou Asian Games, spanning approximately 22,000 square meters with a 140-meter-long roof and seating capacity for 6,852 spectators—a hybrid between a sports arena and theater seating. Yet, with the expert team of CD Stage managing the system, the TT+ Audio GTX system rose to the occasion. 36 GTX 12 and 24 GTX 10 line array modules were coupled to GTS 29 double 19” subwoofers, using RCF’s XPS 16K DSP amplifiers that not only ensure pristine audio delivery under extreme SPL demands but also adapt phase coherence and secure minimal distortion to the 360º audience. With its ultra-low latency, the GTX was the best choice for real-time operations and synchronization with the games. Monitoring, control, measurement and tuning were all provided via RDNet management software.

 

 

Beyond the competition itself, the CFS World Finals showcased extensive fan engagement. Collaborating with Hangzhou’s cultural and tourism sectors, organizers transformed the arena into an interactive hub with live music, team support booths, gaming zones, and a giant outdoor screen—ensuring that even those without tickets experienced the event’s electric atmosphere. As the finals wrapped with EP. Kuaishou’s historic triumph, the successful deployment of the TT+ Audio GTX line array confirmed its exceptional performance during the event.
